About RESILIAGE

The RESILIAGE project focuses on strengthening community resilience and disaster risk management through the integration of local heritage practices.

These practices are essential for understanding how communities respond to emergencies. The project has identified five key innovation frameworks: Adaptive Governance, Health and Well-being, Active Memory, Social Interaction and Inclusiveness, and Socio-economic Resilience. These frameworks will guide and validate strategies and actions with local stakeholders for effective disaster risk management and climate change adaptation.

Objectives of RESILIAGE

  • Enhance Community Resilience and Crisis Response: Transform qualitative data into quantitative information to identify behavioural indicators of risk perception and resilience.
  • Co-Shape and Co-Develop Holistic Knowledge: Collaborate with local communities in five endangered sites (CORE Labs) to create data-driven knowledge supported by digital tools and soft solutions.
  • Foster Community Resilience and Sustainable Development: Use systemic innovation to enhance preparedness plans, citizen engagement, and communication strategies.
