Booklet #7 Psycho-social resilience and risk communication in disasters – Famenne-Ardenne (FR)
Abstract
This booklet explores how psychosocial factors—such as trust, social cohesion, perceived safety, and local identity—contribute to building resilient communities.
Based on fieldwork conducted in the CORE Lab as part of the project, it highlights community perceptions, risk awareness, and the social dynamics that influence preparedness and response to natural hazards. The findings aim to support local authorities, researchers, and civil society in designing inclusive strategies for disaster resilience.
