Booklet #3 Local Heritage Drivers

Abstract

This booklet offers an in-depth exploration of the findings from field research conducted across the five CORE labs of the RESILIAGE project. The booklet examines how communities have been involved in identifying and preserving local heritage in sites at risk, emphasising the role of cultural and natural heritage in fostering multi-stakeholder engagement and supporting community resilience. By integrating historical and cultural perspectives on human-environment interactions, RESILIAGE highlights how tangible and intangible heritage shapes local identities and sense of place, playing a critical role in disaster risk reduction.
