Investigating risk adaptation through the temporal dimension (pre-/post-crisis)

The DBL and UNIMES teams, partners in the RESILIAGE Horizon Europe research project, have launched an online questionnaire survey among the project’s 5 CORE Labs. The aim of the survey is to understand how natural disasters are perceived by the various stakeholders in the CORE Labs, as well as how they have experienced the most recent natural disasters to which they have been exposed. The survey will also be used to obtain feedback on the communication of natural disaster risks between the various stakeholders.

The questionnaire is aimed at the general public, first responders (firefighters, first aiders, emergency services, police, etc.) and local authorities. Participants can take part in this survey at the following links, from 02 April 2024 to 30 May 2024:
Famenne-Ardenne (Belgium): https://psychology.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0OLL83neIZFfbvM

Trondheim (Norway): https://psychology.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0uLlcZgB7L6KBz8

The survey will take between 20 and 30 minutes to complete, and participants will be free to stop at any time. In addition, all responses will be anonymous, protected and accessible only to the study’s stakeholders and the RESILIAGE project coordinator.

Taking part in this study is an opportunity to contribute to your community’s resilience to these risks by enriching the RESILIAGE project teams’ knowledge of the field. The questionnaire is also available in paper format for people who have difficulty accessing digital tools. To access it, you can contact the project partner in the field at the following address:
