Initial digital tools and soft solutions validated across the CORE Labs

The RESILIAGE project has reached an important milestone: the first versions of our digital tools and soft solutions have been successfully validated by local stakeholders across our CORE Labs. These validations mark a critical step in our co-creation and user-centred approach to building community resilience.

Between March and June 2025, citizens, civil protection teams, municipality representatives and other local actors in the CORE Labs, participated in hands-on testing and feedback sessions. These sessions focused on assessing the usability, relevance, and adaptability of key RESILIAGE tools, including:

  • RAISE: This tool lets you answer simple questions to see how prepared you are for emergencies and what you can do better. While it is completed individually, you can share your results with your neighbours and network.

  • MoRe Dashboard: This dashboard monitors how ready your area is for disasters, integrating available data—including from local labs—to help spot risks and track improvements.

  • MultiWarn: The system provides you with timing information by simulating emergency scenarios (e.g., floods, fires, heatwaves), so you can stay safe and prepare in time.

  • DSS (Decision Support Systems): This tool supports local authorities and policy-makers in choosing the best actions for disaster planning and response, based on your community’s needs.

  • CoreDNet: An online direct channel that allows stakeholders to exchange and communicate at the local level and beyond within an identified network, reducing the risk of misinformation about disaster preparedness.

  • Multidimensional ATLAS: This is a web-based multi-layered map that allows interaction with local culture, heritage, history, and risk zones to help understand and strengthen community resilience.

  • MultiMode: This tool shows how information spreads in your community during a disaster and helps find ways to improve communication.

  • Training Packages: The training package is aimed mainly at citizens and representatives of local communities, covering topics like knowledge sharing, mental health support, and teamwork.

  • Preparedness Plans: Practical and hands-on materials like checklists and safety plans to help citizens prepare in advance for potential emergencies.

All tools were presented, tested, and refined in close collaboration with local stakeholders, ensuring that RESILIAGE solutions respond to real community needs and priorities.

This round of validation also provided critical input for the upcoming development cycles and broader deployment across Europe.

Stay tuned as we move into the next stage—scaling up and enhancing the tools based on your feedback!
