RESILIAGE at the MINORE Festival: Cultural Heritage for Community Resilience
We’re excited to share that our partner Cittadinanzattiva has been invited to take part in the MINORE Festival, organised by Italia Nostra, a long-standing ally in promoting the value of cultural heritage across Italy. The festival is dedicated to celebrating so-called “minor” cultural heritage — local, often overlooked traditions and sites — through the active involvement of communities.
The festival will take place from 19 to 21 September 2025 in Siena (Italy), bringing together volunteers, local authorities, and cultural experts from across the country. It marks the final event of Italia Nostra’s national project, which has mobilised 35 sections nationwide in an extraordinary effort to protect and promote local cultural treasures.
On Sunday morning, 21 September, at 11:30, Cittadinanzattiva will present RESILIAGE in the festival’s Speech Corner, set up in the main square. The talk, titled “RESILIAGE. Il Patrimonio Culturale per aumentare la Resilienza delle Comunità”, will explore how cultural heritage can be a powerful driver of community resilience, especially in the face of social and environmental challenges.
