Cyclades Unified - Greece
Kimolos Medieval Castle was built in the 14th or 16th century. The two gates bear dates related to their restoration (1646 & 1650), following a pirate attack (1638), set on fire. The walls’ conservation and its remains’ are of highest importance. Are there ways to add new architecture?
The Kimolistes team cleaned and transformed it for open-air cinema screenings/live performances. Cyclades Unified mission helps the Kimolian community create a sustainable Castle-friendly option.
